Features:

Single-pole position sensor integrated circuits SS340RT and SS440R are low-cost single-pole digital Hall effect sensor integrated circuits. They are packaged in SOT-23 (SS340RT) and flat TO-92 style (SS440R). The digital current sink output of SS340RT/SS440R sensor integrated circuits is a small and multi-functional digital Hall effect sensor that operates based on the magnetic field provided by permanent magnets or electromagnets. They can respond to single poles: the north pole (SS340RT) or the south pole (SS440R).

These monopolar Hall integrated circuits offer three different magnetic sensitivities for selection, which can meet various application requirements:

SS341RT and SS441R offer sensitivity, with the typical operating point at 25°C [77°F] being 75 G.

SS343RT and SS443R offer medium sensitivity, with the typical operating point at 25°C [77°F] being 135 G.

SS349RT and SS449R offer *** sensitivity, with a typical operating point of 305 G at a temperature of 25°C [77°F].

These sensors have two types of packaging:

SS340RT: Miniature SOT-23 surface-mounting package.

SS440R: Pinless TO-92 type package size.

The small size of SS340RT requires less space for the printed circuit board (PCB), making it suitable for use in smaller assemblies. Its 3 Vdc capability can be utilized in low-voltage applications, thus achieving energy-saving goals.

The SS340RT series is available in roll tape and roll disk packaging (3000 pieces per roll); the SS440R series is in bulk (1000 pieces per bag).
